Owen J. Roberts, Chairman and CEO
After graduating from Princeton University cum laude with a degree in Engineering, Tau Beta Pi, he was on active duty as a USAF commissioned officer. He founded CFC in 1961. He has served as a director of The Mennen Company and Jockey International, Inc. and as trustee of The Poynter Institute for Media Studies, Inc.
Michael S. Pinkans, President
Mr. Pinkans earned a B.S. in computer science at Union College and an MBA at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He earned the rank of Captain while serving on active duty in the USAF.
Donald R. Haragan, Ph.D., Vice President
Dr. Haragan earned his Ph.D. at the University of Texas. He was President of Texas Tech University and is now President Emeritus. He has served as academic specialist to the U.S. Information Agency and as a consultant to the University of Jordan in Amman.
Dale F. Nitzschke, Ph.D., Vice President
Dr. Nitzschke earned his Ph.D. at Ohio University. As President he has served three universities: Southeast Missouri State, the University of New Hampshire and Marshall University. He is now President Emeritus of Southeast Missouri State and represents it to both state and federal government.
Frederick W. Obear, Ph.D., Vice President
Dr. Obear earned his Ph.D. from the University of New Hampshire. He served as Chancellor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he remains as University Professor and Chancellor Emeritus. He was Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Oakland University.
David J. Schmidly, Ph.D., Vice President
Dr. Schmidly earned his Ph.D. at the University of Illinois. He served three universities as President: Texas Tech University, Oklahoma State University and the University of New Mexico. He was Vice President of Research and Dean of the Graduate School at Texas Tech.
John R. Stropp, Vice President
Mr. Stropp earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Texas A&M University. He served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Administrative Officer of the Texas A&M Foundation and President and Chief Executive Officer of the University of New Mexico Foundation.
Arthur G. Cleveland, Ph.D., Vice President
Dr. Cleveland earned his Ph.D. at the University of North Texas. He was President of Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka, Alaska and Dean of the College of Science at Columbus State University. He was Vice President for University Advancement at California Baptist University.

Thomas P. Melady, Ph.D. (1927-2014), Vice President 1986 to 2014
Dr. Melady earned his Ph.D. at Catholic University. He was President of Sacred Heart University and is now President Emeritus. He has served as U.S. Ambassador to Burundi, Uganda and The Holy See (The Vatican). He was Professor and Senior Diplomat in Residence at The Institute of World Politics.
John J. Wittich, Ph.D., retired, Vice President 1983 to 2004
Dr. Wittich earned his Ph.D. at Stanford University. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the South Pacific Theater. Dr. Wittich was President of MacMurray College and Director of Graduate Studies at Claremont University Center.
Nelson M. Hoffman, Jr., Ph.D. (1920-2008), Vice President 1988 to 2008
Dr. Hoffman earned his Ph.D. at the University of Kansas. He served as President of Midway College. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the North Atlantic Theater and was Headmaster of The Pennington School after service as a missionary with the Methodist Church in India.
Harrison Shull, Ph.D. (1923-2003), Vice President 1988 to 2003
Dr. Shull graduated from Princeton University summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. He served as Provost of the Naval Postgraduate School. He was a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
